Join The Toby Keith Foundation for the 2nd Annual OK Kids Korral 5k
and "A Mile in Their Boots" walk October 13 at Andy Alligator’s!
All registrations include one free adult wristband to Andy Alligators plus $5 off all kids wristbands day of the race!
The OK Kids Korral 5k is a USATF sanctioned and timed by DG, will start/finish at Andy Alligators. The run will start at 7:30 a.m. and awards to the top three male and female finishers.
Walk A Mile in Their Boots will kick off at 8:00 a.m. This walk will start/finish at Andy Alligators. At The Toby Keith Foundation/OK Kids Korral, we see children fighting the battle of their lives. We are asking our community to come out and support them by walking a mile in their boots…literally! Although cowboy (and cowgirl) boots are not required, we hope you will dress up and have some fun!
Children’s Boot Dash (FREE) will kick off after the walk and 5k at 10 am. Kids under 13 can participate in a fun (and short) race in their boots! Groups will be divided in age and everyone will receive a medal.
Andy Alligator’s Participant Special: All registered participants will receive one free adult wristband ($25.95 value) and $5 off kids wristbands to enjoy Andy Alligator activities from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on race day! Cleveland County Commissioner's invite you to a Ribbon Cutting Celebration! Cleveland County District 1 crews partnered with Oklahoma City Public Works to reconstruct Southwest 164 Street between Santa Fe and Western Avenue.
Cleveland County used a new cement slurry to stabilize the road base. Previous practices have used Portland cement, lime, or class C fly ash. Chemical stabilization consists mainly of adding an alkaline binder, which is a reagent containing calcium oxide, for improving the geotechnical properties of soil. In short, it keeps water from remaining in the roadbed making it weak and spongy. |
